Biography of William Tyndale - English Bible Translator

 William Tyndale Biography

 Greetings dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ! 

       Today I want to write an article on Martyred English Bible Translator William Tyndale. 

       Tyndale was born in 1494 in Fitzbridge, Gloucester. Place of Vision: England, Germany.

 

       The Holy Bible The Bible is a book written by saints washed with the blood of Christ.  That is why this holy book is called a book is written in blood.  William Tyndale is credited with bringing the first printed English Bible.  

Earlier copies of the Bible were handwritten.  William Tyndale, who had put so much effort and effort into making the writings available to the common people, eventually sacrificed himself.  

In those days, it was illegal and punishable for the common man to possess the Bible.  Realizing that the Bible was a beacon for us, Tyndale tried to keep the Bible in the hands of every person.  

Tyndale brought Bibles from Germany to England, hid them in bundles of wheat, and distributed them to the people.  Tyndale's Reformation and Bible translation provoked the King of England to become his greatest enemy, and he was declared a 'false teacher'.  Bibles translated by Tindale were burned at the stake.  Those who read the Bible were punished. 

 Tyndale was strategically captured by his enemies and imprisoned for 16 months.  Tindale was tried on religious charges and sentenced to be burned alive.  

It was on the same day (October 06), 1536, that Tyndale was tied to a pole and burned.  Tyndale was tied to a pole, shouted in a loud voice, "Lord! Open the eyes of the King of England."  Tyndale's last prayer opened the king's eyes.  

Four years after Tyndale's death, four English translations of the Bible were published in England by royal decree.  Beloved, 

My dear brother and sister, how can you share in taking the Bible to the ends of the earth?  

"Lord, make me a warrior who always carries the Bible. Amen!"
